Educational Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Describe role of Ig use in solid organ transplant, including use in desensitization, treatment of antibody mediated rejection and treatment of viral infections post-transplant.
- Explain the interaction of Ig, FcRn and other biologic agents and how Ig might affect treatment.
- Explain differences in Ig product formulations and composition in order to select the appropriate product for transplant recipients.
