Target Audience
This activity is intended for physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals who care for patients in need of immunoglobulin therapy and specialty biologics.
Educational Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
- Describe the various types of immunoglobulin products available, their specific indications for use in different disease states, and the mechanisms of action involved
- Discuss the specific clinical indications and rationale for Ig therapy in primary immunodeficiencies, neuromuscular disorders
- Apply safe administration techniques for Ig therapy, including proper infusion techniques and monitoring protocols
