Target Audience
This activity is intended for physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals who care for patients in need of immunoglobulin therapy and specialty biologics.

Educational Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Describe role of Ig use in solid organ transplant, including use in desensitization, treatment of antibody mediated rejection and treatment of viral infections post-transplant. 
  • Explain the interaction of Ig, FcRn and other biologic agents and how Ig might affect treatment. 
  • Explain diffences in Ig product formulations and composition in order to select the appropriate product for transplant receipients.
