Speaker: Terry Harville | MD, PhD, D(ABMLI), D(ABHI)
Terry Harville MD, PhD, D(ABMLI), D(ABHI) is a pediatric immunologist, rheumatologist, and hematopoietic cell transplanter. Additionally, he is the medical director of the transplantation laboratories at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. Dr Harville earned his PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Florida. Afterwards, he earned his MD, and stayed on for a residency in Pediatrics. He then underwent additional fellowship training in Pediatric Immunology, Rheumatology, and Transplantation Biology. After completion of training, he joined the faculty of Duke University, where he evaluated patients with complex immunodeficiencies and patients with complex autoimmunities. Subsequently, he joined the faculty of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. There, he took on the responsibilities of medical directorships of the special immunology laboratory for the diagnosis of immunodeficiencies, and of the transplantation laboratories. Currently he is Professor of Pathology and Internal Medicine, providing laboratory services and consulting on patients with complex immune abnormalities and autoimmune disorders, as well as, patients undergoing organ or hematopoietic cell transplantation.
